from a games standpoint they come pretty equal...
From a business standpoint, I'd say 360 just because it's in a much better position in this market. With blu-ray players coming down so far in price, 360 is comparing against the PS3 as a game system alone now, and it's comparing pretty favorably.
Unless they were in the top tier of games, they got way overlooked. There were so many great games this holiday for all platforms.
Specifically PoP launched behind LBP and Resistance on PS3 and GoW and L4D on 360 AND CoD, far cry, mirror's edge, end war and fallout on both platforms.
Pretty much everything that wasn't fallout, CoD, or exclusive got looked over because people don't want to buy 10 games in a month. GLAD I RENT!
breaking up single articles into 3 part series... booooooooooo...
This list doesn't even show up on the reasons I hate you...
SOTC borrowed a lot from the non-combat gameplay of the Xbox PoP trilogy.
All games borrow from other games.
the wii's architecture is more PC like than any of the other consoles.
that made me laugh...
We all know that's why you resort to walls of text. Walls of text are there because nobody actually reads them and fanboys see "PS3 GOOD LOLOLOLOL" and give you agrees and bubbles without having to convince themselves that your problem ridden argument actually makes sense.
On the flip side, nobody ever tries to prove them wrong because it's only a matter of time before someone radical enough to write something like that straps a bomb to themselves and rids the world of ...
Capcom did a smart here more than anything. It's easy to make a multi-plat title for the PS3 when you take into account the differences inherent in the PS3. The unreal engine was always designed to run best on a PC, and that's why it doesn't do as well on a PS3.
When you design a game or an engine from the ground up with the architecture of the PS3 in mind, you won't have many troubles. The problems come in when you end up doing something that is expected to work on a PC, then tr...
ensemble wasn't bankrupted, it was shut down. Yes, it is very different.
To killzone 2 looking better. Gears 2 is better looking than the other games though. Considering art, I'd say Dead Space, PoP, and Bioshock are comparable.
Gears 2 looking like Gears 1 is more a testament to how good Gears looked originally than to how gears 2 didn't improve.
Also, the quote about 360 being pushed to it's limits was to do with the hardware being used fully, not to say there is no room for improvement.
PS2 was, to use your words, being &q...

they have instances and servers. Servers can have multiple instances, but all the instances crash if the server goes down. The server runs everything, but the instances are designed so each machine can run everything they need to interact with.
would you rather their servers suck later on when they release something you actually want to do.
it is a sign that signals any number of problems. It signals any general hardware problem. That ranges from the traditional Xclamp issue, which caused the majority of 360 deaths to faulty wiring to things as simple as the motherboard being hooked up wrong or something being corrupted.
RROD isn't any single problem M$ can fix. People have to stop looking at it that way. It is a general hardware malfunction. Fixing any single thing won't stop RROD, because it's not a single problem...
once you got used to them and understood what you were doing.
Too Human wasn't a bad game so much as a flawed game. It has a good base to build off of, and a sequel could be a great game. If they can get 4 player co-op working it would be awesome and finally give healers a purpose.
It was down in October and September because halo 3 got released then last year, and there wasn't much released then this year. It's still up YTD over last year in the US.
... but hey... whatever gives you an e-chubby.
All three report consoles sold to retailers and distributors only as far as financial statements go. They only report units sold to consumers to show brand recognition, and most of the time that's only at major industry press events like CES, GDS, TGS, or E3.
Every company... EVERY COMPANY selling a console reports units sold to retailers and distributors; not to consumers.
I can make a good soup with only 30 minutes of any kind of effort...
Also, Cup noodles/Ramen Noodles/Instant Lunches taste pretty good all things considered. They are better than a lot of campbells soups.
smiley equals confirmation now...
